WHO: Mimi Peterson, Racine Writer-in-Residence, #17: “Mimi is renowned as fine artist, art advocate and world-class curator of impeccable taste as half of the art duo, Vital Art Project, which she shares with her son, Erik. Published as a writer of theoretical practice and as a cultural critic, the core of Mimi’s work has shifted to the authorship of poetry for which she has been awarded the prestigious title of Writer-In-Residence. She wears the sash through December 31. On Friday, Mimi’s atelier will be relocated to Adam Booth’s Vintage & Modern Books where friends and interested members of the public are welcome to attend, observe, engage and shop from 3 – 7 PM .” Host: Erik R. Peterson, mixed media artist/Art Director, Vital Art Project & Creator of Thee Bunny Project. Our facilitators at V&M: Heather Novotny, Adam Booth.
