Wisconsin Exquisite Corpse

by Kelsey Marie Harris

Functional depression leaves me with nothing much to say this week, if I’m being honest. But in the spirit of “functional” I’ll use this week’s blog post to tell you about my Writer In Residence project.

I plan, with the help of some of Wisconsin’s amazing writing community, to create an exquisite corpse.

An exquisite corpse is a poem created by a group of people, where the first person writes two lines, but only the last line is shared with the next person to write their two lines. And so on, and so forth.

My hope is to create a poem highlighting Wisconsin and Lake Michigan, from which so many of us draw inspiration.

If you, or anyone you know would like to participate in this project, feel free to send me an email @ amorej51109@gmail.com
