In case you care — though
I doubt you will — I want to say
I forgot what I wanted to
Google when I woke up
this morning. I’d lain awake
a few times last night
obsessively wondering but not
wanting to expose my eyes
to blue light. I awoke
this morning, tired and sore,
kept up by my mind
as usual wanting to know,
when learning would leave
me just as restless. But then
I rarely remember my dreams
— even when they wake me.
So maybe I only dreamt
about wanting to Google
whatever I wanted to Google.
